Underground Rock Mechanic Engineer – FIFO
An International Mining Company with multiple site in Australia as well as overseas is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for their Underground hard rock mine in Queensland.
In this role you will be apart of a large Geotechnical team, where you will have support and mentoring from multiple Seniors as well as additional support of your peers in the department.
This is an ideal role for a Geotechnical Engineer that is looking to be based in Queensland, you will be on a FIFO roster of 8/6 and you will be responsible for;
- Stope stability analysis
- Geotechnical data collection interpretation
- Seismic processing reporting
- Geotechnical input on day-to-day production to long term planning
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Geological) as well as having a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in an Underground hard rock mine. Preferably within the Australian mining sector.
