Underwriter
Main responsibilities include:
Assess and classify applicant's risk
Monitor underwriting practices to assure compliance with State and Federal guidelines and legislation while working closely with our Compliance Department.
Interpret medical records, phone interviews, laboratory results, motor vehicle reports, MIB codes, and prescription drug indications and apply and document risk assessment accordingly
A qualified candidate will possess:
5 years of underwriting experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Advanced communication skills, both oral and written
Detail oriented and analytical mind
