Underwriting Executive

One of our leading clients operating in the financial service sector is recruiting for an Underwriting Executive to join their expanding team. As a key member of the Contact Centre and Underwriting team you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to a large customer and client base.

All interested applications will be responsible for assessing marginal credit applications to maximise acceptance rate to clients. Your job role will include assessing referred and incomplete applications for selected clients to ensure decisions are based on company policies and guidelines, also ensuring complete and accurate information is received on which to base sound decisions.

Further to this you will evaluate, follow up and record information, to identify fraudulent applications and ensure necessary action taken. Also, you will need to ensure all underwriting decisions are completed and passed to your team leader for sign off in a professional and timely manner.

You will manually assess customer credit files for existing account holders and liaise with your clients keeping them informed accordingly.

This is a part time temporary assignment; 14 hours a week until late August 2014. This job is £7.50 per hour and you will have the option of one of the following shift patterns:

1) Saturday (7 hours) and Sunday (7 hours) - (Shifts on a Saturday are from 8am – 8pm and Sunday 10am – 6pm)

2) Saturday (7 hours) and, 2 x evening shifts in the week anytime between 4pm – 10pm (shifts will be for 3 ½ hours)

3) Sunday (7 hours) and 2 x evening shifts in the week anytime from 4pm – 10pm (shift will be for 3 ½ hours)
