Underwriting Manager – A&H recruitment
We are seeking an experienced Accident Health (AH) underwriter to fill the position of Underwriting Manager - AH within our Arabian Hub, servicing the GCC countries and Lebanon.
Reporting to the Head of Consumer Lines for Arabia, the position will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business and hiring, developing, training, and evaluating Underwriting/Support Staff. The role will also encompass product development, portfolio management, process and systems and audits. The Underwriting Manager is responsible for participating in strategic planning and tracking portfolio trends of all aspects of the AH business.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and people management skills in order to drive the business forward.
A solutions-focussed approach and an entrepreneurial spirit will also be essential for success.
The position will suit a self-starter, with excellent technical udnerwriting skills obtained within a reputable insurance organisation.
