Overview Unified Communications Lead (Lync/OCS) Initially the work will be in Central Long Island, NY (4-6mo) After that the work would shift to Marlborough, MA (Perm) Travel: 80% for 4-6mo. and then 20% Responsibilities/Requirements Job Summary: We are seeking an individual with at least 3+ years Unified Communications experience in designing and implementing solutions including Microsoft Lync Server 2010, MS Office Communication Server 2007R2 and/or MS Exchange Server 2007/2010. Capgemini is looking for a candidate that is interested in a collaborative consulting career. Responsibilities: Designing, Implementing, and Supporting a Microsoft UC solution consisting of Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Office Communication Server 2007 R2, Exchange Server 2007/2010 Unified Messaging, and Media Gateway(s) to Public Switched Telephone Network. · Being a technical lead on Microsoft UC solutions/projects · Working closely with customers (internal and external) to understand and manage project expectations · Working within the guidelines of Capgemini s project and process management practices · Collaborate with other members of Capgemini s Hosting practice · Assist in the pre-sales and post-sales efforts by speaking with customers, gathering solution requirements, and assisting in the preparation of statements of work and proposals Minimum Requirements: · Experience installing, configuring, or administering Microsoft Lync Server 2010 · VoIP experience with one or more of the following: Lync/OCS, Cisco UCM, Nortel/Avaya · Experience with Lync/OCS IM, Presence, Federation, LiveMeeting · Strong consulting, communication and documentation skills · Knowledge in telecommunications, Public Key Infrastructure, Microsoft SharePoint · Firm understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory · General understanding of Quality of Service technologies, and IP routing · Able to work efficiently in teams and/or independently · Excellent written and verbal communications One of the following Microsoft certifications preferred: · MCITP: Lync Server Administrator · MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator 2010 · MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator Education: Bachelor's degree required. BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred. Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 80%
