Unigraphics Designer Job in Merritt Island 32952, Florida Us

My client is seeking a Unigraphics Documenter/Designer for the Merritt Island, FL facility.

SUMMARY:
Uses 3D CAD modeling software to create 3D models, assemblies and specifications of products. Maintains and updates the CAD models throughout construction of prototype

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Model basic 3D parts for use in digital assemblies
-Develop and maintain multi-level BOM assemblies using CAD and PDM assemblies
-Use and maintain CAD models to document the prototype model for production
-Prepare specification books for production operations including drawings, layouts for patterns, specifications, instruction to production etc.
-Responsible for collecting and storing all pertinent project information in PDM system
-Maintain files, attribute and structures in PDM system

QUALIFICATIONS:
-AA in Engineering Graphics/Bachelor's in related field
-Minimum 4 years experience in drafting or technical illustration
-Good knowledge of ANSI drafting standards
-Extensive knowledge of freeform and solid modeling techniques
-Certificate training in CAD software. Unigraphics NX 4 or later required.
-Extensive knowledge of master model concept and multi-level BOM
-Proficient in technical drafting, drawing interpretation, sketching and visualizing in 2D and 3D.
-Advanced computer skills
-Extensive knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-Basic working knowledge of AS4000 MRP system
-Minimum 5 years experience in boat building or related field.

This is an immediate opening with NO relocation offered.

This is a full time position. Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm.
