One of the highest regarded investment management firms in Edinburgh is looking for a qualified accountant to support their finance department in a unique position.
Our client will provide you with training and development as well as the opportunity to advance your career to new heights.

This position provides a unique challenge. You will deliver personal accounting support to the senior management level across the whole organisation. This provides you with an opportunity to work closely with senior management across the business on a diverse range of personal accounting issues. Normally this personal support will be provided by an external consultancy however, this client has brought the function in house in order to increase efficiency and provide discretion for the senior management team.

Key responsibilities:
-Accounts Preparation
-Maintain the private ledger accounting system
-Prepare annual pension scheme accounts
-Assisting group treasury division
-Communication with senior management across the business
-Assistance with personal tax

Key requirements:
-A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS)
-Experience in either industry or practice (FS experience is desirable but not essential)
-Payroll and benefits experience is not essential but advantageous
-Personal tax and accounts experience would also be desirable
-Top quality written work, accuracy and attention to detail.
