Unit Trust Dealer
UK Investment Manager seek an experience Unit Trust Dealer to work in their prestigious City offices
Purpose of role:
To provide a comprehensive Unit Trust Dealing Service to support the dealing team (equities and derivatives)
Key responsibilities:
Provide unit trust dealing in range of Funds.
Thorough understanding of timescales and deadlines to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner.
A thorough knowledge of Unit Trust dealing, phone/fax/email and electronic trading system.
Completing application forms, price reporting and payment instructions etc.
Build knowledge of financial markets (unit trust, equity and derivative) – develop an understanding of market forces and dynamics.
Develop relationships with the front office and market counterparties, TPA’s and Fund Managers.
Achieve proficiency in using in-house dealing systems.
Process trades in accordance with internal procedures using trade reporting systems
Record deals and assist Settlement Operations in investigating trade defaults and other queries.
Provide general administrative support

Candidate Profile
Educated to A Level or equivalent
Significant relevant experience of unit trust dealing
Ability to work in a pressurised environment
