Unix Systems Administrator within an investment bank. Environment - Sun, Dell running Solaris, Red Hat Linux VOS. Resp for 2nd 3rd line support for these, hardware support of Unix based servers, operating system infrastructure messaging system support, monitoring, server builds, patching, configuration and maintenance for Sun Dell servers, storage with working knowledge of SAN connectivity, IT planning. Proven exp of batch scheduling utilising either Cronacle or similar. Exp within financial services would be preferable but not mandatory.
Skills req - red hat, solaris, sybase, satellite server, EMC Power Path, LVM2, Kornshell scripting, regular expressions, SAN storageThe JM Group is acting as an employment agency with relation to this vacancy.
