UNIX Administrator, LINUX, Proprietary Trading, Quantitative Trading, Hedge Fund, Red Hat Enterprise, Veritas, Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, Hong Kong recruitment
My client, an elite proprietary trading firm, based out of New York is actively looking for senior UNIX engineers to join their expanding Hong Kong Office.
Successful candidates will be working on my client’s customized in-house trading systems, where you will be involved in a variety of tasks including process improvements, managing service requests, incident resolution, etc. The ideal candidate will be an excellent problem-solver, have excellent communication skills, as well as a can-do attitude.
Main requirements:
- Deep understanding and working experience of Linux/UNIX systems (Minimum of 4 years)
- Shell is a must
- Perl/Python/Ruby is a plus
- Common network technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep passion for technology
- Experience working in an investment banking/hedge fund/prop trading firm is a plus
