UNIX Consultant
InterQuest Financial Markets is currently looking for a UNIX consultant with a broad range of technical knowledge. You will work as part of a team and will help with the responsibility for hardware procurement and installation and the day to day operations. You will also provide support and maintenance of the operating systems.
UNIX consultant Role:
+ You will act as an operational support and you will assist in managing the UNIX estate, provide ongoing design and support new projects.
UNIX Consultant Experience:
+ As the UNIX Consultant you will have experience with AIX system support.
+ You will have clustering experience.
+ As the UNIX Consultant, you will have the ability to build and configure NIS, NTP and NFS.
+ You will also have Veritas experience.
+ As the UNIX Consultant you will have a good ability to script (Shell, Perl, PHP).
+ You have a working knowledge of Linux and Solaris.
