We have an immediate need for a UNIX Sys Administrator Linux/AIX WebSphere/DB2
JOB DESCRIPTION
Unix System administrator. Must also have Linux sills. WebSphere Commerce application Server upgrades from 5.3 to V6.1. Must be familiar with DB2v9.7. Must be able to independently build LPARS and physical servers with virtualization and redundancy. Will manage both old and new environments until fully migrated. Must be able install, manage, troubleshoot and perform problem resolution on AIX 6.1 TL6, WebSphere Commerce 7x and DB2v9.7. Be able to migrate DB2 Instances, and migrate application software. Currently undergoing several migration projects with critical deadlines. In addition will be planning and implementing DR. Individual is on call for 4 commercial accounts. In addition to all project work all steady state work must be maintained including working through incident tickets, security compliancy, crit sit resolution meeting.
Special Skill Requirements VIO, AIX, WebSphere, DB2
Some week-ends, on call and local travel.
