Unix/Linux/Windows System Administrator – Bratislava, Slovakia
We are looking for 1. or 2. or 3. Tier level support within the area of Unix/Windows system administration. Improve your knowledge and experience in one of the biggest telecommunication and networking copmany worldwide.
Main responsibilities:
* Installation, configuration and maintenance of UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems.
* Incident management, change implementation (including patch management and upgrade management), problem management, project implementation and performance management for UNIX/Linux/Windows OS and hardware.
Requirements:
* Operating system knowledge (UNIX/Linux/Windows);
* Server system administration;
* System support and trouble analysis;
* Technical documentation /implementation tools;
* Storage - volume management, file systems;
* Basic clustering concepts;
* Strong problem solving skills;
* Independent worker, yet able to work as a team member or leader where necessary.
Desired background of candidate:
* High school education (or equivalent) or higher;
* UNIX (preferably AIX/HP/Linux/Solaris) /Windows (preferably Windows 2003 and 2008; MCITP: Enterprise Administrator, Putty, SSH, RDP, Basic IP knowledge is advantage) System administration experience (minimum 1 year);
* First level vendor certification desired.
