Job Description:
We have a current opening for a Purchasing coordinator. The purpose of the Purchasing Coordinator position is to ensure timely updating of supplier price changes as well as assisting with customer pricing matrix to enable client to maximize gross profit margins. This position will also be responsible for system product and new item maintenance and assisting the purchasing department with expediting purchase orders. Essential Functions: Purchase and replenish Pipe, Valve, and Fitting Inventory Enter price updates from specific suppliers into Eclipse system Update manual pricing books with new pricing sheets and correspondence Update and maintain selling price matrix for existing and new customers Provide reporting to management as requested by management Communicate with vendors/suppliers to receive current shipping status on stock purchase orders Update system with changes and additions to product descriptions Update vendor information and new source information in the system. Additional duties as may be assigned by department supervisor or manager Essential Job Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
