Upstream Fundamental Risk Manager | Global Commodities Firm
Houston, TX. $90-$110k compensation, plus opportunity for bonus.
Global commodities trading is looking to bring on a fundamental risk manager to join their rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be interacting with senior stakeholders within the company and developing strategies with the senior risk officer. You will specialize in upstream oil assets, encompassing a $20bn portfolio.
As a fundamental risk manager, you will be responsible for developing risk management framework, identifying improvement opportunities in risk management process, and analysis of risk landscape within portfolio. An extensive end of your role will involve research and analysis of North American natural gas markets.
The Ideal candidate:
- Comes from a background in fundamental risk analysis
- Quantitative mindset and experience
- Commodities market and industry forecasting and strategy
- 3-5 years experience in risk management, analysis, or quantitative role
- Upstream experience a huge plus
- Engineering, economics, or mathematical degree
