US Fixed Income Senior Strategist – Multi-Sector recruitment
BlackRock's Fixed Income team manages more than $1 trillion in global fixed income assets across index, active long-only, alternative, and liability driven strategies. The platform offers fixed income investors one of the industry's broadest array of investment choices across model-based and fundamental investment styles.
BlackRock's Fixed Income group is seeking a Senior Strategist who will be responsible for product development and commercialization, the design of fixed income solutions for clients, providing thought leadership across various multi-sector fixed income structures, and business ownership by being accountable for defending revenues and responsible for pricing and supporting growth in the Multi-sector Group.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Portfolio Managers to represent the Multi-sector business and products
- Engage and lead relationships with BlackRock's relationship managers to achieve ideal sales strategy
- Assist clients in developing investment solutions that marry BlackRock Multi-sector capabilities with client needs
- Lead client account reviews, conduct portfolio analysis, and create market updates
- Focus on the most strategic clients within the Multi-sector business, and work to adjust the product mix and positioning to maximize the business
- Perform / highlight product and competitor analysis in support of BlackRock Multi-sector products
Requirements:
- BA/BS, with strong quantitative skills. MBA/MS and/or CFA preferred
- Strong fixed income background; 8+ years of fixed income experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate between various groups including Strategy, Portfolio Teams, Sector Specialists, Global Client Group, Legal, and other areas
- Detail-oriented and be able to multi-task effectively
- Strong communications and writing skills
