US iShares Digital Content Distribution Manager recruitment
The US iShares Content Distribution Manager will be responsible for the management and execution of iShares content for 3rd party (Yahoo, Google, etc.), Broker/Dealer (Schwab, Fidelity, LPL) and strategic partner (Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch) sites. This individual will also have project management responsibility to deliver timely and relevant digital content which builds awareness of the ETF category, iShares products, and iShares market insights. This individual must possess a strong understanding of iShares product benefits and features, iShares thought leadership themes, and general investment trends that are relevant to financial advisors and high net worth investors. Demonstrated experience in developing content for digital and social media, mobile applications, and/or web based content is an imperative for this position. Strong project management skills are required with the ability to deliver results within short time lines. This position requires the ability to interact successfully across several areas of the organization (compliance, marketing, e-business, subject matter experts). The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast paced dynamic environment and be a passionate/avid consumer of digital/financial content.
Essential Duties:
- Lead distribution of digital content to 3rd party sites and influencers
- Work with Director of Content Strategy to continue to refine overall distribution/syndication strategy
- Curate content and project manage other digital events such as virtual conferences, webcasts, on-line education curriculums, channel specific investor communities/forums, etc.
- Relationship management with key influencers, partners and digital distribution vendors
- Deliver on-going internal awareness campaigns on social media for iShares/BlackRock employees
- Continually monitor and consume content in the digital space in order to be delivery cutting edge content
- Keep up with the trends of high net worth investors and financial advisors (digital usage, portfolio construction, investment insights)
- Develop and maintain a process work flow that ensures consistent execution and delivery of content across platforms
Qualifications: Education (Minimum): Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Experience must include:
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience with web properties
- Prior Financial Services experience is preferred; (CIMA, CFA or other Financial Accreditation a plus)
- Knowledge of Exchange Traded Funds, iShares product set, financial markets
- Possess a basic knowledge of HTML, Social Media platforms (blogs, Twitter, LinkedIn, online communities) and other web-based platforms
- Hands on experience managing and marketing digital content programs
