US Retail High Net Worth Marketing Associate recruitment

BlackRock's Global Marketing and Communications team is looking for a Marketing Associate to support the firm's Private Client Institutional (PCI) and RIA channels within US Retail.

Within the PCI channel, BlackRock seeks to meet the unique needs of Private Wealth Advisors and Institutional Consultants, providing solutions for complex high net worth (HNW) client situations. Within the RIA channel, BlackRock provides investment, market, and practice management insight to entrepreneurially-minded Registered Investment Advisors. Together, these businesses account for more than $10 billion in annualized gross sales for the firm.

This individual will be responsible for developing thoughtful marketing campaigns and collateral to position the firm's investment strategies and value proposition for HNW and Private Wealth Advisors, Institutional Consultants, RIAs, and their clients. He/she will also partner with Sales leadership to develop the business strategy to increase market share in this important and rapidly expanding client segment.

The successful candidate will lead strategic marketing initiatives for these channels from conceptualization to finalization, by applying analytical skills, investment acumen, and strong program management capabilities.

Responsibilities

· Partner with BlackRock's PCI and RIA sales teams to drive business through thoughtful, customized marketing initiatives

· Coordinate with other BlackRock businesses and partners, including but not limited to: Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Investment Communications and Institutional Marketing teams to deliver the sophisticated and in-depth servicing these channels require

· Work closely with the Alternatives Investments and Separately Managed Account teams to position 40-act and qualified purchaser AI product and SMAs to PCI advisors and RIAs

· Analyze BlackRock's sales, market share and AUM in the retail high net worth marketplace. Develop insightful presentations for US Retail Management, including Head of Sales, Relationship Management and Marketing

· Schedule, coordinate and execute events, seminars, webinar and conference calls for the PCI and RIA advisor segments

· Provide customized direct and email marketing support, in conjunction with Relationship Marketing Team, to effectively communicate with the PCI and RIA advisor segments

· Support the BlackRock PCI and RIA Sales team training initiatives

Requirements

· 3+ years of experience from a top tier asset management, consulting or other financial services firm; Marketing, Sales Strategy or Private Banking experience preferred

· Interest in capital markets. CFA, CIMA or MBA a plus

· Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Solid interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work well in a team-based environment

· Ability to interact and communicate effectively, written and verbal, with clients and stakeholders

· Interest in portfolio management and solving needs of high net worth clients such as efficient portfolio construction, asset allocation, retirement income planning, tax-management issues, alternative investing, etc.

· Understanding of intermediary-sold separately managed account (SMA) and alternative investment marketplace at major US broker-dealers is a plus

· Strong PC Skills, including Word, PowerPoint, advanced knowledge of Excel
