US RFP WRITER recruitment

BNPP IP offers a diverse range of investment management strategies to institutional clients in the U.S. through our affiliates, including BNP Paribas Asset Management, Fortis Investments and Fischer Francis Trees Watts. Our clients include corporations, pension plans, insurance companies, foundations, endowments, central banks, official institutions and mutual fund advisors. In the U.S. we have offices in Boston, Chicago, New Jersey and New York. We have an excellent temporary short term assignment for a US RFP Writer in our New York office. Individual will focus on writing primarily fixed income RFPs and questionnaires. In addition, the individual will assist in putting together other marketing materials, as needed.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and complete RFPs, RFIs, surveys and other written prospect material in conjunction with Business Development and Marketing, and other departments where necessary.   Ensure all materials are completed in a timely and professional manner and are of institutional quality.

• Ensure all materials adhere to industry guidelines from a marketing perspective. Liaise with Risk Oversight on standards and compliance of new materials.

• Work together with Global RFP team in Paris to complete RFPs, which are global in scope.

• Work with other RFP writers to maintain RFP database of answers.

• Aid in the creation and maintenance of generalist firm wide and product specific marketing materials, on an as needed basis.

• Act as a backup resource to Consultant Relations Analyst with regard to quarterly consultant updates and firm update information for questionnaires and investment consultant databases.

Ideal Personal Profile:

• Experience as an RFP writer for an investment management firm, preferably with a fixed income focus.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills particularly the ability to convert technical language into an understandable and readable document.

• Detail-oriented, energetic and industrious self-motivated team player who works well under pressure and has strong management and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize assignments so that all deadlines are met.

• Ability to work with resources located in other parts of the world.

Academic Background and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree coupled with excellent academic credentials.

• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RFP database experience).

• Five years related financial writing experience (preferably in fixed income asset management).
