US & UK MOD’s Specialist recruitment
My client is looking to recruit an operational tax specialist into a 35 strong team in Birmingham. The team is one of the largest in the market and split into 4 main groups that include US UK tax regulations and tax audits, tax reclaims and certifications, PB client accounts and custody tax.
This opportunity sits within the banks asset services tax ops team and will be responsible for all tax operational issues concerning US and UK manufactured overseas dividend tax regulations, including filing of tax returns and tax audits.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong US tax knowledge gained in an operations environment.
- Good communicative skills and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines and controls.
- 3 min years experience in operations tax gained in an investment banking or broker/dealer environment.
- Proven experience in preparation of US or UK figures for tax returns and knowledge of US or UK tax regulations.
