We are currently seeking talented USAA Capital Corp Group Data Analytics Exec for our San Antonio, TXfacility.
PURPOSE OF JOB
This executive leads the USAA Capital Corp Group (CAPCO) Data and Analytics function to maximize value of the data and analytics capability to drive business results, fulfill the mission, and over-achieve on our strategic priorities; maximize the value of all analyst resources against customer expectations; and measurement of all programs against objective criteria.
JOB DUTIES

Develop, in collaboration with the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO), a Data and Analytics/Decision Support target state and roadmap for CAPCO.

Inspire business owners to leverage data in order to drive business results, fulfill the mission, and over-achieve on our strategic priorities.

Plan, develop and deploy capabilities to enable access to high quality and timely information for CAPCO; including Bank, IMCO, and Life.

Collaborate with company presidents and PLLs and other staff agencies to identify and deliver actionable insights to further USAA’s business strategy.

Align with the Enterprise Information Strategy through partnership with the CDAO and other Companies or Staff Agencies.

Develop increased Data and Analytics sophistication and maturity across CAPCO.

Collaborate with Analytic Community Leaders across USAA in the deployment of a USAA-wide analytic operating model.

Manage analytic resources (PPTI) to maximize value for CAPCO.

Foster analytical innovation and promote the sharing of analytics knowledge and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
-
10+ years leveraging data and analytics to drive results in a complex financial services organization.

10+ years of proven leadership in data analytics function or relative leadership experience.

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering or other quantitative field (e.g. finance or a social/behavioral science).
Preferred

Proven CRM/Data warehouse Infrastructure and Decision Systems/Platforms experience.

MBA

Proven leadership ability to set a vision, gain buy-in, execute, energize/influence all levels of organization and drive implementation.

Strong experience leading a team through change.

Six Sigma Certification.

Excellent communication skill and executive presentation skill.

Strong financial acumen and efficient allocation of resources, capital, expenses.

Proven leadership in attracting, developing and promoting Analytic Business talent.

Broad product knowledge specifically to drive new products.
