User Interface Developer Job

Overview

Working in Product Development, the Games System UI Prototype Developer is a key role in bringing innovative features to the production gaming platform.

Primary responsibilities will be working with stakeholders to produce game prototypes that will validate game concepts and playability as well as forming a key part of the functional requirements.


Candidates will be required to be based in Dublin for a significant portion of the contract. Please only apply if you are able to meet this requirement.

Key accountabilities:

* Work closely with Product Development team of analysts to understand new poker features and to produce interactive prototypes to enrich the feature-definition process and to aid communication of feature requirements

* Build a library of reusable components for rapid prototype development

* Interact with IT Development teams to communicate requirements and to ensure the design specifications meet functional enhancements

* Demonstrate leadership by coordinating the requirements gathering and functional specifications for small to large projects

Required experience/skills:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills and experience;

* 5+ years in a UI Prototype, Design or Development role

* 3+ years Flash Programming experience with knowledge of ActionScript 3 essential

* Significant Flash Prototyping experience

* Ability to quickly prototype from abstract concepts and iterate on fast-evolving ideas

* Ability to lead by coordinating multiple prototyping efforts

* Excellent communication skills and presentation experience

* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

* Proactive with "can-do" attitude with strong emphasis on being a team player

* Strong customer focus

* Third level degree in relevant business or IT discipline

The following, while not essential, are highly desirable:

* Degree in Business or Technology required (Working with IT consulting company is very relevant)
