The Role:
Primary responsibilities:
- To design and implement programmes of user research, employing a sound research methodology, as part of product development and design projects in the healthcare and lifesciences industry, with a particular emphasis on usability related research
- to complete analytical assessments e.g. the examination of the risks associated with the use of a device / product
What you need to have:
- Honours degree
- Proven track record in the design and implementation of research projects in one or more of the fields of psychology / market research / design research and human factors/ergonomics
- Proven track record in planning, execution and reporting of user validation studies
- Experience of medical devices, healthcare and medical products
- Awareness of the regulatory framework relating to medical device development
Personality:
You need to be a self motivated, dynamic and personable character
