Company: Intermountain Gas Company Department: District Operations Location: Idaho Falls, ID Hiring Manager: Charles Haszier Closing Date: 03/21/2012 Job Type: Full-Time Journeyman: $20.22 /hour Job Summary: Provides assistance in the installation and repair of gas mains, services and related natural gas facilities. Responds to gas-related emergencies following Company policy and procedure. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalency. MUST have Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and safe driving record. Experience in use of standard, pipe and pneumatic tools, such as wrenches, tapes and dies for pipefitting, tampers and boring machines for service and pipeline construction. Good written and verbal communication and customer service skills. OTHER VALUABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS One year experience in pipeline or other utility construction preferred. Good judgment and excellent personal safety record in performing tasks in hazardous or emergency situations.
