UTILITY MAN LABORER Midland Borough is currently accepting applications for a full-time utility man and a part-time laborer. All applicants must possess a diploma from an accredited high school or graduate equivalency diploma (GED). The full-time utility man should possess the following qualifications CDL Driver's license preferred, snow removal experience, flagger training preferred, tree removal and trimming experience, general road maintenance, sewer maintenance, heavy equipment experience, i.e., municipal equipment, mechanical experience, concrete work, welding and any other activity deemed by the Borough. The part-time laborer will be expected to perform general laborer activities, i.e., cutting grass, litter control, snow removal maintenance, general road maintenance, janitorial services and any other activity deemed by the Borough. All applicants must have a criminal history clear of convictions for any misdemeanor or felony, must sign a release of information form in order that a background investigation can be conducted that would include any previous employer and/or associate of the prospective candidate, successful candidates must obtain Act 33 and 34 compliance and must comply with the standard operational procedures of the Midland Borough Street Department.
