As a Utility Person you will be responsible for checking and filling all necessary fluids under the hood, checking tire pressure.
Performing preventive maintenace hertz vehicles -
Oil Changes ( oil filter replacement )
Changing tires ( rim to tire )
Rotation of tires
Light Mechanical repairs such as supervised brake repairs
Light parts replacement - example, replacing side view mirrors, trim, lights, electrical fusees, etc
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Mechanical traning would be a plus - but not requried
Skills:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time with continuous bending and twisting
- Able to lift 50lbs
Must be available to work scheduled hours, shift will require working on Sunday, and evenings week days
- 2 years experience in the automotive repair industry is required
- You should be mechanically inclined, understand how an oil change is performed
- Tire change experience is an assett
- Body damage repair experience would be an assett but not required
- Able to work with minimal supervison
- Valid Driver's License with clean motor vehicle record
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Possess a valid class G or higher drivers license
- Periodic Motor Vehicle checks will be performed if hired
