Top three skills are: - Managing content on a corporate website - User Experience skills (adhering to online brand, usability, web analytics etc) - HTML, JavaScript, CSS Job Description Position Description The Senior User Experience Professional will be responsible for creating great experiences for websites and other digital products. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Digital Media team, corporate information technology and marketing to conceptualize, design, develop and maintain our customer-facing websites. The primary responsibility for this role will be focused on client's main corporate website. Candidates must be highly skilled using content management systems (CMS) to manage websites, maintaining the existing HTML and CSS across the entire website, making sure the HTML/CSS code is consistent, efficient and compliant to web standards. This position requires a progressive and creative problem solver with knowledge of user experience best practices. The ideal candidate will also have strong project management, analytical and problem solving abilities. Responsibilities - Experience in publishing content to the website, applying appropriate styling to ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and web standards. All content must adhere to brand guidelines and web standards. - Project coordination, execution and hands-on involvement for large content projects, microsites and online publications. - Design and implementation for homepage promotions and features. - Designing, developing and implementing new websites and landing pages. - Analyze web site visit, conversion, and other performance data to identify, quantify, and prioritize user experience and demand generation improvement opportunities. - Provide web analytics reports to others throughout the firm using Adobe SiteCatalyst. - Maintain, troubleshoot and implement enhancements to customer-facing websites through extensive expertise in HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, user-centered design principles and online marketing best practices. - Develop and manage the A-B / multi-variant testing using Adobe Test Target. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 5 years working in a user experience capacity which may include front-end web development, designer, information architect or usability specialist for large corporate websites. - Front-end development expertise with HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, JQuery. Knowledge and skills using Joomla CMS, PHP, HTML 5 and MySQL a plus. - Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium software. - Experience working on projects involving online marketing, such as paid, organic search and online advertising. - Expertise in multimedia/rich media such as Flash video, podcasts, Flash, ActionScript, and working with recorded webcasts. - Adept at using Adobe Site Catalyst for web analytics and Adobe Search and Promote for a search engine on a corporate website. - Experience with customer segmentation, A/B and multivariate testing, and ROI analysis. - Knowledge of browser compatibility issues; provide solutions to ensure website is rendered consistently across all browsers, platforms and devices. - Must be hard working, self motivated with good communication skills clearly documenting project deliverables and delivering messages that are easily understood by a wide audience. - Actively share knowledge and responsibility with other team members. - Capable of resolving difficult problems and lead the resolution of the problem, relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment where all members are included in the solution and management is aware of actions being taken. - Superb written and verbal communications skills.
