Valuations Senior Analyst recruitment
Our client, a leading investment manager, is seeking a Senior NAV Analyst to work within their Edinburgh team. The Senior NAV Analyst is responsible for NAV calculations for a large number of institutional separate accounts. This includes analysis/comparison with third parties such as custodian banks and accounting agents. Furthermore, the team works closely with cash reconciliations to ensure minimal risk NAV calculation caused by cash reconciliation exceptions.
Responsibilities of the Senior NAV Analyst:
- Conduct calculation and analysis of portfolio, net asset value (NAV) and performance
- Active participation in departmental/group projects such as automation and process streamlining
- Conducted portfolio evaluations, performance calculation and analysis
- Calculation of NAV
- Prepare and provide extensive reconciliation to custodian banks and accounting agents to prevent and/or resolve NAV/performance discrepancies
- Prepare and review holdings reconciliation to reconcile positions, prices, market value and accruals
Background of the Senior NAV Analyst:
- Experience working directly within investments
- Experience performing NAV calculations
- Experience using data vendors, particularly Bloomberg
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent systems skills
This is a permanent Monday - Friday Senior NAV Analyst role paying an excellent salary plus bonus and benefits.
