Various Consultant Roles Job in Ottawa, Ontario Canada
EMERION, an Ottawa based IM/IT Consulting firm that is experiencing significant growth in its Identity Management practice area within the Canadian Federal Government in the National Capital Region.
EMERION will require Senior Software Developers that meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience working as a Senior Software Developer on initiatives within the Canadian Federal Government
- University degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Management
- Valid Secret level security clearance
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in which they developed web based applications that are based on complicated identity management relationships and secure data transfer
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in which they developed and implemented web based applications developed using Agile development methodology.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience writing unit tests and integration tests for automatic testing of source code. (Note performance testing, load balancing testing and regression testing will not be accepted as equal to unit testing and integration tests as identified in the criteria)
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience deploying web applications using Apache web server and Tomcat application server or commercial equivalent such as Oracle, WebLogic or WebSphere
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience developing web applications that use the SAML standard
- Experience developing /deploying applications that support Government of Canada electronic credentials would be considered an asset
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in which they developed, modified and wrote Java source code for J2EE using related technologies including Hibernate and Spring
OR
A minimum of three (3) years of experience creating, modifying, writing source code within Visual studio for n-tier applications in VB.NET or C# accessing database tables in Oracle 9i or higher using ODP.NET
