MILVETS Systems Technology has immediate openings for full time contract IT Support positions in Fort Bragg, NC. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. In order to pass the clearance, candidates must be U.S. citizens and cannot have any of the following on their record in the past 10 years: bankruptcy, DUI, domestic violence charge, criminal record/felony conviction, and other issues may apply. A drug screen test by hair follicle is also part of this process.

Senior Systems Engineer (2 positions available)

 

Description:

Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex application that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.

Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases (IVV and DTE).

Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution.

Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.

Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the Task Order.

May be required to serve as Task Leader.

Responsible for ensuring the quality and services delivered for particular task(s) for which this skill is performing the Task Leader position.

Education: 

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines. 

A Bachelor’s degree may be waived if the individual has six years of additional related experience.

Security Clearance:

Secret with SSBI that can be upgraded to TS/SCI

Required Experience: 

This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience with a degree.

Desired Experience: 

3 years of experience in responsible management positions.

ITIL v3 Foundation Certification – Required within 30 days of contract support

Description:

Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Description:

General Job Description:

Provides assistance and oversight for information systems operations activities, including computer and telecommunications/communications operations, data entry, data control, operations support, operating systems programming, system security policy procedures, and/or web strategy and operations.

Provides assistance and oversight for telecommunications/communications operations, data networks, video networks, voice networks operations, data center operations and distributed computing operations.  

Provides input to policy level discussions regarding standards and budget constraints. 

Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, production activities, and network development and for necessary support resources.

Information Assurance Manager (2 positions available)

 

Description:

General Job Description:

Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for EN services contract. 

This includes, but is not limited to, such programs as OPSEC, COMSEC, INFOSEC, resource protection, and facility and boundary protection.

Under general direction, responsible for activities relating to information assurance procedures and systems related to EN services.

Develops information assurance procedures and systems.

Develops information systems assurance programs and control guidelines to ensure compliance with SOCOM and ITMO security and Information Assurance guidance and published directives.

Confers with and advises EN Services contractor support personnel on administrative policies and procedures and resolving technical problems, priorities, and methods.

Consults with and advises other sections regarding internal controls and security procedures.

Prepares activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function.

Assoc Service Ops Manager

 

Description:

Provide assistance and support to the Participating Entity in establishing and maintaining

an IT Service Management environment that aligns with the ITIL (v3) framework.

Provide Subject Matter Expertise advice to Government leads in IT Service Strategy,

Design, Transition, Operation, Configuration Management, Continual Service Improvement,

Enterprise Architecture, and IA Policy and Planning

Experience:

BA+6

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

11 Jan 2012 – 10 Jan 2013 with 4, one year option periods (5 years total).

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standard hours of coverage are 0800-1700, Monday – Friday (excluding Holidays). 

There will be periods during which the contractor will be required to work weekends, extending hours and be on call for mission critical support.   

 

Contractor personnel may be deployed to OCONUS locations to provide IT support as required (undefined requirement).  Selected individuals may required access to Special Access Programs.
