Harrington Starr has partnered with an award winning Hedge Fund intelligence vendor that provides strategic investment analysis to the asset management and Hedge fund sector. This UK leading company has grown year on year having a large presence in America and UK and filtering there analysis through some of the most renowned market data companies.
For this role as a VB.NET Developer (SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) you will be working on their core software product that is deployed to clients for investor analysis. This product will require someone with some experience in VB.NET development as you will be gathering requirements through to release of projects and will be doing a lot of optimization work on their core products released to clients as they have numerous Greenfield ideas. Additionally, this company is really keen on innovation keeping creativeness therefore project lifecycles are quite short and if projects are longer you will be switched on to a different one to keep new ideas and a fresh set of eyes on the software.
For this role as a VB.NET Developer (SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) you will be required to:
* Have 2+ years programming with VB.NET- Essential
* Experience programming in a commercial environment- Essential
* Experience working with SQL databases- Essential
* Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript- Essential
* Good communication skills and keenness to learn within an expanding company- Essential
