The Role: A number of confident and enthusiastic Software Developers (VB.NET/C#/ASP.NET/SQL2005/T-SQL/Compact Framework/Wireless/Mobility) are required for a reputable and progressive company offering a fantastic opportunity to take on new tools and gain valuable commercial experience in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Your core duties will be to develop Greenfield projects and evolve the existing systems, reporting directly to the Development Manager.

The role is predominantly VB.NET in ASP.NET - however those with C# experience in ASP.NET or VB.NET in Winforms are still encouraged to apply and will be considered based on other merit and willingness to learn and develop your skills.

You will enjoy coding to a high standard, have an enthusiasm to code and be an excellent communicator and have excellent problem solving skills. This is a fun and bustling environment with some fun banter and playing around with freebies from the warehouse! A very solid organisation and a very fun/laddish place to work!

Candidate skills:

• Experience with VB.NET (commercial) and if significant enough, possibly C#
• ASP.NET - .NET winforms considered if with VB.NET
• SQL Server
• Compact Framework, MVC, Silverlight etc. are nice to have skills
• Requirements Gathering, Full lifecycle
• Pick up new languages and in-house technologies quickly
• OO Design and Development
• Good communication and presentable as this will involve Client facing duties

You will be expected to be involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle, your ideas and decisions will be appreciated and you will be expected to give part in technical discussion and show technical intrigue!
