Vehicle Controls Feature Engineer Job in Dearborn 48236, Michigan US
Position Duties:
Production vehicle feature code developer (primarily as auto-code but also proficient implementing hand-code) including but not limited to:
· Parameter management
· Styleguide implementation
· Block/Library implementation
· Configuration management (version and change control)
· Perform simulation validation (MIL, SIL, and HIL) and vehicle level validation. Provide documentation for design verification plans and reports
· Support both system and vehicle level calibration Lead/support peer model design reviews
· Support development systems engineering deliverables including FMEAs, Robustness documents, High Level Function Requirements, Use Cases
Minimum Requirements:
· B.S. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering.
· 5+ years automotive experience
· Excellent written/oral communication skills
· Powertrain controls background (Hybrid experience preferred)
· Significant experience with C, Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Real Time Workshop, dSpace Tools, ATI Vision, Clearcase
· Hands on problem solving experience in simulation, hardware in the loop systems, and prototype vehicles
