Vendor Management Coordinator

We are assisting our client in their search for a Vendor Management Coordinator. Responsibilities include taking ownership over the company's interview scheduling process; broadcast orders to approved suppliers using various VMS tools; confirm assignment logistics between hiring manager and supplier regarding the contractors' assignment information (start and end date, location, rates, hours, etc.); appropriately maintain the customer and supplier relationship by building a professional rapport, following up consistently, and by maintaining ongoing contact and communication; act as a cooperative and contributing team member of the VMS program to ensure that a high level of service is always offered to both customers and suppliers; identify service delivery issues and suggest appropriate and timely solutions; maintain a stake in all key service delivery objectives by taking an active role in continuous improvement of service delivery processes and in maintaining and improving contractor/supplier quality; facilitate onboarding/offboarding activities as necessary (i.e. confirmation of background screens, renewals and site specific requirements; badges); ensure all related contractor on boarding/off boarding; and prepare and distribute regular quality metrics reports to customers/vendors. The ideal candidate must have a BA/BS or equivalent experience - a degree in Business is preferred; 1 to 2 yrs Recruiting, Technology, Customer Service, or Service Support experience; be proficient in developing professional relationships with clients and suppliers; excellent communication and coordination skills including verbal, written, and listening; ability to problem solve; ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks that require detail-orientation; ability to work in a team environment and attention to detail. This is a temp to perm role, paying up to $18/hr. on the temp side and up to $60K when it goes perm.
