Vendor Management LOB Relationship Manager

General Description Key contributor; Provides input based on expertise to mid-size projects relating to corporate change initiatives that impact a single major business or function. Projects have: 1) major influence on the quality and timeliness of products or services, or impact the financial performance of the business unit and 2) require cross-divisional coordination, communication, influence and negotiation. Sr Change Consultant responsible for analyzing present state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. May provide input on staffing and budget allocation but does not have actual staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making responsibilities for team. Typically 5 or more years of experience in change management preferred. Project management certification or equivalent experience preferred. Specific Description Partner with LOB/ECF vendor management stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of vendor management strategy, process and operations. Work effectively with internal teams to develop and recommend objective, effective strategies and solutions to address customer/client needs and issues. Engage the client frequently to get feedback on progress and make needed course corrections. Communicate with impact to help shape the opinions and actions of key stakeholders, gaining their trust and commitment to the desired outcome. Demonstrate a deep understanding of all elements of operational risk, including people risk, process risk, systems risk and external events risk. Use the established governance structure that facilitates the oversight of vendor management, follow all policies, procedures, and internal controls to manage operational risks.
