Vendor Management Program Lead recruitment
A position is available in the Enterprise Risk Department for a Vendor Management Program Lead.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist in conducting pre-contract vendor risk assessments to identify and measure the risk of loss (direct or indirect) or reputational harm from dealing with third parties, including financial stability, litigation, OFAC and background checks.
- Assist the VRRM in coordination of vendor performance monitoring through the management of an annual vendor evaluation process.
- Analyze results of vendor assessment and due diligence processes, propose corrective actions, when needed, and follow up on corrective actions until resolved.
- Assist in designing risk reporting formats and “dashboards” on the firm’s third party risk.
- Manage the vendor risk database to record vendor program documentation including vendor details, contracts and assessments.
- Assist in preparing responses to inquiries on third party risk from senior management, Board members and regulators.
- Maintain Bank wide approved vendor list.
- Work with business units to develop exist criteria for vendors with negatively trending risk profiles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years in risk management with 2 years’ experience in a vendor account management or vendor program management capacity.
- Knowledgeable in vendor management practices, including conducting vendor due diligence, including delivery of risk analysis reports of findings.
- Excellent communication skills. Writes, speaks and presents information effectively and persuasively.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Law Degree preferred.
