Vendor Management: – SVP recruitment
The candidate must provide oversight and control of the vendors along with project management, financial reconciliation, data analysis, issue management, and leading/supporting contract negotiations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage several large relationships across geographical disperse locations through building strong relationships to ensure financial and client-driven results, including service level agreements, contract compliance and due diligence on performance.
- Provide leadership, oversight and control for each relationship, ensuring that all vendors adhere to policy requirements
- Govern multiple project initiatives and own end to end projects for process based projects including; project planning/ tracking; status reporting; issue management/ escalation/ resolution; change control; quality control; risk management; and financial management.
- Work closely with financial controllers to manage the financial relationship including billing reconciliation and deliver monthly analysis of current and future expense forecasting to senior management on a quarterly basis that is used for the annual budgeting reviews
- Identify, analyze and implement cost saving initiatives
- Manage and maintain contracts through their lifecycle including; liaising with various business units to understand scope and ensure contracts align with scope, gather financial and legal approvals and negotiate with delivery vendor
- Manage the global fraud/operational risk ensuring adherence to policies and communication of policy changes from corporate steering committees.
Qualifications:
- Ability to "see the big picture" and to help internal constituents to identify and establish engagement objectives
- Broad knowledge of the brokerage and/or banking functions and applications
- Working knowledge of business process to be able to effectively drive solutions as experienced in large corporate environments
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office suite especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Experience in translating business requirements in to operational process, both internal and external, in supporting projects. Strong documentation skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality is also a requirement of this position. Candidate must be able to work well under pressure and within short time constraints
- 12-15 years work experience
- Vendor Management collaboration, negotiating and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are required
- BS in business management, financial management, or other related field required. Master's degree preferred
