Vendor Operations Analyst

Our client is a leader in the Packaging and Logistics industry, due to several promotions, they are ADDING staff and looking to hire future managers today! In this role, you will primarily be responsible for customer satisfaction, which entails coordinating and managing the timely delivery of customer goods at the best possible rates. Duties: -Must have strong mathematical skills (utilized when calculating and negotiating the best rates: Square Footage, Capacity, Pallet count, etc.) -Respond to RFQ's in a timely fashion according to company policy -Communicate/Negotiate with vendors for possible rates on materials and shipping -Responsible for sourcing vendors and purchasing product -Work closely with the sales team to ensure accuracy and success -Participate with the procurement approval process and design for finished products -Update price lists with new items and specifications -Occasionally visit with vendors to ensure accuracy of products and the highest level of customer satisfaction is met Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Economics Must have professional communication skills and a customer service oriented demeanor Must have very strong Mathematical skills Salary: $50,000-$55,000/yr. + excellent benefits!
