Venture Capital Sales Associate

One of the most ambitious and dynamic Venture Capital firms in London requires a Sales Associate to join their team.

The firm focuses on investing in early stage companies (across a wide range of industries) where growth potential exists backed by excellent business plans and strong management teams. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for developing relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) investors and/or institutions (private banks, family offices, wealth managers IFA’s) to invest in these companies through tax efficient EIS Schemes.

The role:

The firm does a high degree of direct marketing to a broad investor base and is headed by one of the City’s most renowned and respected Fund Managers. The result of this marketing means that you will be passed leads that are genuinely interested in investing in EIS Schemes. No cold calling involved.
You will be required to:

• Follow leads, develop relationships and manage your clients interests
• Be involved in driving committed attendance to EIS investment conferences and sales presentations
• Regularly coming up with creative and professional pitches to potential investors

Candidate requirements:

• Must have passed all RDR exams (CF30 registration required)
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the social strata.
• Very strong sales skills and have the ability to close deals effectively
• A key prerequisite of the role is the ability to persuasively sell whilst maintaining a high level of output calling clients. Typical commitment being in the region of 50+ client calls per day as a minimum.
