In the course of staffing its new RFID design team based in San Jose, CA, NXP is looking for experienced RFID and NVM designers to fuel its drive toward Best-in-Class RFID IC designs. This autonomous, self sufficient Silicon Valley team is part of a broader transformation into an organization with the flavor of a start-up and the resources of a $4 Billion annual revenue powerhouse. In order to support and execute our aggressive market share growth plan in RFID Tags Labels we have decided to recruit, build and establish a top notch tag IC development team in San Jose (US). This team will focus on RFID applications making use of UHF technology and will work together with our existing European development team.

Job Description
The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital design team to verify logic designs and validate ICs using FPGA. RF board design and debug skills are a Must, as are solid FPGA programming skills and regression test fundamentals. We are looking for a candidate that is fluent in Labview or equivalent programming environments and skilled in configuring test and measurement equipment. C# Python programming language skills are critical, LLRP is a Plus.
Requirements
BSEE required with 5-10 years related experience. Excellent communication skills.
