As an Engineer, you'll take the lead as you - Support Target's first international expansion into Canada. - Provide technical and team leadership to support the Vertex Enterprise tax solution - Participate in construction activities to ensure architectural and operational requirements are met - Drive problem management activities using the ITIL support model - Perform trend analysis and identify root causes for high priority and recurring issues - Utilize standard enterprise tools to develop or implement infrastructure hardware, software or other technical components - Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolves problems to ensure infrastructure and application stability - Collaborate with team to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes - Participate in the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of platforms, applications and infrastructure services - Resolve escalated incidents Technical Envrionment: Infrastructure - IIS - MS Server 2008 - MS SQL Server 2008 Middleware - MFT - Datastage - Message Broker - Message Queue - Java Messaging Service (JMS) between SAP PI and Message Queue. - Axway - EKMC - Control-M Vertex - IIS - Websphere - Java Connector (to connect to SAP) Requirements - BA/BS or equivalent experience - 5-7 years total work experience - Has in-depth knowledge of state-of-the art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems as required by domain - Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise - Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education Benefits Eligible team members will receive one of the best earnings packages anywhere, including competitive pay, all-around insurance coverage, 401(k), flexible scheduling, training and development and many other perks and benefits.
