The Company
New Times Energy Corporation Limited (SEHK: 166) is a natural resources company that focuses on the exploration and exploitation of oil and gas properties in Argentina and the United States.
In Argentina, the Company has secured the Tartagal and Morillo concessions for exploration and exploitation in Salta Province in northern Argentina covering a total area of approximately 7,065 and 3,518 square kilometers respectively. It is one of the largest oil exploration land parcels open for tender in Argentina. The Company is actively looking for prospective oil and gas properties in Argentina.
The Company also invested in oil and gas projects in various parts of the United States including Texas, Louisiana and Alaska. The Company will continue to evaluate lucrative opportunities with the view to rapidly establishing a growing revenue stream that will bring significant return to its shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing investment opportunities by conducting due diligence, site visits and management interviews
- Preparing investment proposals to evaluate the merits and risks of an investment which include financial analysis, legal analysis and operating environment analysis
- Preparing and assisting in the negotiation processes of an investment to maximize investment returns and devise downside protection parameters
- Executing acquisition processes of an investment including legal documentation, management integration and devising investment targets and monitoring benchmarks
Requirements:
- Five years + experience in corporate finance, mergers acquisitions, financial advisory and related fields
- An MBA, CPA /CFA or professional qualifications of Accountancy will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Listing Rules and Takeover Codes.
- Possess strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent team player with strong multi-tasking and organization skills in a fast paced environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Able to and work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
