Vice President – Private Equity Accounting recruitment

Key Job Responsibilities

The VP of Operations will be responsible for a broad spectrum of financial and accounting matters affecting our private equity clients. Candidates should have a strong background in partnership accounting with an emphasis on financial services, proven client management skills, and the ability to manage and lead a team monitoring client deliverables and meeting deadlines. These responsibilities include: Client management, managing multiple clients/funds, maintain intimate knowledge of Client/business model, maintain and strengthen client relationship, review service contract, provide subject matter expertise to client and direction to staff/client, meet all client deadlines. Requirements:

•Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field

•7 + years experience in Accounting

•CPA designation a plus

•Knowledge of partnership accounting, private equity experience a plus.

•Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting

•Supervisory skills with two or more professional staff

•Hands-on management style with strong leadership skills

•Project management skills with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•Advanced Excel skills
