Responsibilities
- Conduct research and gather market intelligence of the assigned markets to keep track with the industry trend and develop good understanding of the business potential and opportunity.
- Work with country Cards Unsecured Lending Head to formulate country specific strategies in line with the overall group strategy and ambition, and develop business plan to achieve the agreed financial goals and strategic imperatives.
- Manage the Profit Loss of the portfolio assigned.
- Oversee and assist country in the implementation of the business plan.
- Review, monitor the country performance against plan and provide timely feedback and support through the robust use of analytics.
- Work closely with Credit to maintain a healthy unsecured portfolio and strike good risk-return balance.
- Cross-country best practice sharing and migration.
- Take the lead on product innovation and driving of regional initiatives / platform.
- Explore new business opportunity (both country regional level).
- Work collaboratively with CBG country franchise and associations to build customer centric value propositions and best of class customer experience.
Requirements
- Degree with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial position in the credit card and unsecured lending industry, preferably possessing working experience in multiple Asia markets.
- Strong business acumen, team orientation, result-oriented and self driven.
- Sharp analytical skill, good judgment and ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skill to mobilize support and lead people to achieve results.
- Solid experience in product management including marketing, branding, new product development, new business rollouts.
- Possess Knowledge and / or experience in all operational areas relevant to Cards and Unsecured Lending business, including marketing, sales management, credit, collection, customer services, etc.
