Description:

Nomura International Plc. seeks to recruit a Vice President level Structured Rate trader to join our Emerging Markets rate team. The Emerging Markets Rate trading team covers bonds, linear (including IRS, cross currency swaps) and non-linear (vanilla and exotic rates options, structured indices. Inflation etc..) derivatives in CEEMEA region. This particular role will be part of the Local Emerging Markets rates team covering all CEEMEA.

Skills and experience required:

Responsibilities will include market making of vanilla and exotic rates options, pricing and risk managing IR structured notes, developing  and pricing inflation products and developing structured indices business to Emerging Market clients with a particular focus on CEEMEA.  As such, the candidate must have worked directly in structured rates desk in their past role focusing above mentioned activities. The role is suitable to candidates that can demonstrate previous grounding in linear and non-linear rates products  on derivatives side.  Previous experience in a diversified client facing role is a must. The candidate should have worked in at least one real sector institution’s finance department in risk managing role in order to bring a well-rounded background to the team. Fluency in Arabic (due to important Middle East interest) and existing knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters platforms are prerequisites
