Responsibilities
- Investment communications is one of the three components of the CIO Office – Investment Strategy, Investment Communications and Product Due Diligence. The Investment Communications Team turns the economic, asset market and individual securities views of the Investment Strategy Team and the other research resources of DBS Bank into fit-for-purpose communications for the bank’s wealth management clients.
- Publications: To manage a team that communicates and publishes investment research-based publications (including dailies, weeklies and monthlies) to wealth management clients, enabling DBS Wealth Management to proactively market consumer investment strategies aligned with DBS (Chief Investment Office, Group Research, and Vickers) house views.
- New Media: Production of videos and other online communications to achieve greater reach for our investment views.
- Editing/writing: Rewriting/repackaging existing house views/publications into fit for purpose summaries for wealth management clients
- Group editorial standards: Ensuring consistency of house views and high editorial standards for publications across the entire group
- Assisting sales and investment advisory staff with locating research views they require
Requirements
- Degree from a recognised university preferably in banking, finance, economics or business related disciplines, with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- In depth knowledge of investment products
- Working knowledge of capital market dynamics and asset allocation principles.
- Sound knowledge of local business conditions and the competition
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to prescribe appropriate communication packaging solutions to promote the broad business objectives and strategy.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, motivate and provide leadership in a peer environment.
- Strong team player with excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and ability to multi task.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business partners.
