Vice President / Assistant Vice President, Product Control (Treasury & Markets MIS Analytics), Group Finance recruitment

Group Product Control’s responsibilities include production and development of relevant, timely and accurate, management information as well as insightful analysis of business, product and customer profitability to support decision making, reporting and generation of shareholder values.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and produce the monthly and quarterly reports for the business which are distributed to senior managers including CFO and CEO, working with various product controller teams locally and regionally
- Collate key positions and market data points to substantiate the material PL drivers
- Act as gate-keeper for portfolio creation and usage, a key control function
Requirements
- Graduate (preferably Accounting / Finance / Commerce / Economics) with strong grades from a reputable university; Honours degree highly preferred
- Qualified Accountant with 5 years post qualification experience preferably in MIS / Product Control in banks or financial services audit
- MIS reporting skills and experience in Product Control
- Strong product knowledge and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Interest in market movements and financial news a key advantage
- Customer focused – consistently meets client needs within constraints of time and resources
- Ability to solve problems effectively and creatively
- Demonstrate leadership skills and is a strong communicator in both written and verbal communication and at the same time, a strong team player
- Show enthusiasm, initiative and diligence
- Enjoy working in a high pressure and challenging environment with strong ability to multi-task
