Vice President, Business Analyst recruitment

Responsibilities Include: 

• Primary role on the implementation team supporting the rollout of Markit Clear Inventory and Trade Settlement products

• Reviewing, analyzing, and resolving issues raised during the implementation cycle for new client institutions joining the platform

• Creation, maintenance and delivery of implementation materials for new clients

• Conduct product walkthroughs and demonstrations for potential new clients

• Collaborate with software development team to resolve known issues

• Participate in the design and development of future product enhancements

• Participate in product testing and support cycles

• Establish, maintain, and support internal support and development tools

Required Skills / Experience: 

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including excel, word, powerpoint, visio, access

• Strong understanding of system design and development concepts and technologies, full SDLC lifecycle exposure

• Excellent knowledge and experience working with XML used as a communication standard

• Experience managing or executing various SDLC testing phases

• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design

• Understanding of UML, use case design techniques

• Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Highly self motivated and directed

• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

Required Experience: 

• BA or BS degree in relevant field (MIS, Computer Science, Finance,etc)

• 5+ years of business / systems analyst experience in financial sector

Desired Experience: 

Working knowledge of:

• MQ or equivalent messaging technology

• Database technologies – Oracle, SQL

• SDLC management tools

• Financial industry experience

• Loan product knowledge

• Fixed Income

• FpML
