Position Summary: Reporting to the SVP, Information Technology the VP, Business Capabilities will 1) Rationalize a diverse set of business systems into an integrated platform based strategy positioned to support both organic and acquisition growth. 2) Developing leading edge systems that drive competitive advantage for the human capital and professional services businesses. This individual will be accountable for driving an integrated enterprise applications and platforms team that is responsible for the strategy, design, development, implementation, enhancement, maintenance and analysis of enterprise wide software applications. The Vice President is expected to manage resources and project deliverables to ensure the successful delivery of a transformational strategy aligned to enterprise systems capabilities that support a service delivery business model. As the transformation agent this individual will be required to integrate a disparate organization and re-invigorate the connection to internal and external business clients. The executive will manage the technology portfolio and ensure the successful integration of business applications across our global footprint. Key Relationships Key stakeholders: Chief Financial Officer EVP Human Capital Direct reports: Executive Director Human Capital Systems, Executive Director Financial Systems, Director ERP Key responsibilities: Partner with the senior leadership team to identify, gather and understand goals, and to formulate supporting strategies, while prioritizing requests and adhering to deadlines. Provide guidance to the executive team on the strategic use of IT. Plan, develop and implement a value-added enterprise-wide system strategy which utilizes technologies that maximize functionality and capability to meet current and future needs of TeleTech Holdings. Manage application development, support, project management and business analysts as well as service level agreements with external solution providers. Create a business applications vision for the company, and develop specific project plans and measurements on the implementation of new technology projects. Ensure project priorities and deliverables are communicated with the key stakeholders. Deliver IT solutions with an emphasis on speed, flexibility and efficiency that align with the business strategies and support the needs of internal customers through flawless execution. Determine which external suppliers/vendors will provide the most appropriate and cost-effective services to meet business needs. Develop a deep understanding of the drivers of the business and apply technology to drive efficiency and top line growth opportunities. Identify opportunities to maximize resources including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, services, and in-house development. Recruit, motivate, and develop highly-skilled professionals who can consistently deliver quality results that meet stated business objectives. Implement a management approach that drives organizational performance, encourages creativity, develops technical proficiencies and rewards key performers. Assess existing IT processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Drive overall governance of system investments for company systems. Ensure all transaction platforms are secure and risk-free for both the company and its customers. Additional Responsibilities include: Launch and manage enterprise wide and cross functional software deployments across diverse regions with assorted stakeholders Demonstrated experience managing large technology and business process transformations associated with core technology platforms that enhance and grow with the business Consistent with ITIL service management guidelines the individual will focus on refining the aligning of IT services to the needs of business Motivate and manage direct reports in multiple locations on numerous continents Coordinate project estimation and track development c
