Job Description
Part of Business Support team for Asia Pacific Risk. This team is responsible to cover business management and support initiatives across the risk organisation in Asia Pacific (Market Risk, Global Banking Risk, CDP / FIDP, Operational Risk and GWIM Risk). Subject role will cover Business Management (financial management, coordination, processes), MI Analytics and Project Management streams within the team. This role requires strong connectivity with other regions as well as other teams across businesses, functions (finance, compliance, HR) and COO organisation on various business management activities and projects.
Responsibilities
Key Business Management responsibilities will include:
- MI and Analytics: Organise the team, execute deliverables (weekly, fortnightly and monthly), and coordinate the MI process (changes and improvements).
- Financial Management: Manage planning and financial management processes (budget, monthly reviews, expense management), coordinate with Finance (globally and regionally) as well as HR in tracking key cost drivers for the risk organisation.
- Coordination Collation of Emerging Risks and Issues for the Monthly CRO Forum.
- Facilitate audits and regulatory reviews involving risk teams in Asia Pacific.
- Lead workstream for International Governance reporting and relevant deliverables.
- SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Group - Global Recognition, Records Governance, Business Continuity Planning.
- Manage key risk data repository, reports and MI - facilitate fast and efficient supply of information to risk seniors.
- Risk Technology: Work with technology partners (GRITT) to ensure tech projects are appropriately prioritized, coordinate engagement of risk teams on various projects and implementation project governance.
Requirements
- 5-6 years of experience in business management or similar roles
- Experience with financial management/budgets, expense management, business continuity, regulatory interface, project co-ordination, associate training, process improvement, communication and various aspects of a business management role
- Good organisational, presentation and influencing skills with basic knowledge of financial entities and Asia Pacific region
- Ability to develop partnerships and work across lines of business to drive execution
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills are essential. Ability to navigate in a constantly changing environment and under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Strong written and communication skills
- Technology: Advanced MS Office, PowerPoint, MS Project
- Project management and process design experience preferred
